Stagecoach to divert Wroughton bus service through Wichelstowe

Bus company Stagecoach have announced that, from 6th November, they will be diverting their bus service 9 through Wichelstowe. The bus service presently runs direct between Old Town and Wroughton along Croft Road via North Wroughton. From early November it will instead run through East Wichel to Waitrose, then along Mill Lane and Wharf Road

Municipal services for Christmas and New Year

Improved bus service to East Wichel and Waitrose from 6 April

Thamesdown Transport have announced that, from 6 April, service 15 will be extended to the new Waitrose store on Foxham Way in Middle Wichel. The service will continue to run every 20 minutes Monday to Friday daytimes, and every ½ hour on Saturdays. In addition there will now be a ½ hourly service on Sundays

Bus service changes from 2 September

Thamesdown Transport have announced changes to the bus service to East Wichel. This is part of a significant rearrangement of bus services in North Swindon, but benefits East Wichel with an increase in frequency on weekdays. From 2 September, buses will run to and from East Wichel every 20 minutes during the daytime on Mondays

More bus service reductions for East Wichel

Thamesdown Transport have revealed that Service 11 to East Wichel will be halved in frequency from 6 January 2013.
