February road closures

Getting out of Wichelstowe towards the west could be difficult in the second half of February. Mill Lane will be closed from 15^th to 23^rd February between Waitrose car park and the bridge over the motorway to allow works on nearby houses being built. The traffic calming on Mill Lane will also be replaced at the same time. The existing narrowing in the road will be removed and replaced by speed cushions a little closer to the bridge. Eventually these too will be removed once a roundabout has been built on Mill Lane later in the development.

Starting at the same time, from 15^th to 20^th February, Wootton Bassett Road will be closed near its junction with Westcott Place to allow a gas main to be replaced.

Immediately before this, from 10^th to 14^th February, Wootton Bassett Road eastbound at its junction with Redposts Drive will be closed overnight between 8 pm and 6 am to allow repainting of road markings.
